and get Eagle Rising for a Rome/Carthage playthrough. If you've got the money then it's totally worth it get Bannerlord and throw in RBM, Calradia at War, Raise your banners + Raise your torches, Diplomacy, Looters Plus, etc. The overall quality is nothing to scoff at, though. So, as of now it's not going to impress you with content like Warband. These two are exciting as hell because they're far and away the best looking Mount & Blade mods I've seen, they're just not nearly complete yet. Bannerlord Online is a crazy functional MMO mod that's worth checking out (but still early in development) if you want to grind with a hundred or so other players.Īaaaand there's like Kingdoms of Arda off in the distance (LOTR), The Old Realms (Warhammer) is available but pretty much a demo.

Calradia at War adds a lot of new clans with troops and items. There's enough small mods that you can change it quite a bit, but yeah a fair bit of mods are outdated now.īiggest overhaul is Eagle Rising, the Roman mod (with the Carthage update on the horizon). I've got tons of mods that I enjoy, and change the game a lot, but in my case it's more realistic (Realistic Battle Mod + De Re Militari) as far as troops go.
